Every wedding tells a story, and Sara & Greg’s was one of light, romance, and a city reimagined as their garden. Choosing Metropolis Events as their backdrop, the couple wanted a celebration that felt modern yet timeless — abundant in detail but rooted in elegance. With Melbourne’s skyline at their side, they created an atmosphere that proved a city wedding can be just as immersive and romantic as any vineyard or marquee.

With floor-to-ceiling glass flooding the room in natural light, stylist Amica transformed the space into something luminous and deeply personal. Candles lined every surface, their glow softening the expanse of glass and drawing the city skyline into the celebration. It felt less like a reception and more like stepping into a glass garden suspended above Melbourne.

At the centre, a custom white dance floor detailed with gold lettering became the stage for celebration. Beside it stood a towering five-tiered cake — vintage-inspired in design, classic in white, and finished with the kind of detail that felt both romantic and timeless.

The palette was subtle yet intentional: creams and whites accented with muted moss greenery and baby’s breath. Modern, understated, and abundant, it created a garden reimagined — not built from colour, but from light, texture, and detail.
