A celebration of spring in the city

Gabby & Adam’s wedding story was one of colour, light, and the feeling of spring brought into the city. Choosing Metropolis Events as their backdrop, the couple created a celebration that felt fresh and romantic, bringing the season indoors through soft colour, florals and considered details. Pastel shades of yellow, pink, purple, blue and green came together across the space, creating a wedding that felt joyful without ever feeling overwhelming.

White draping fell from the ceiling, softening the architecture of the room and adding movement above the celebration. Against it, florals became the defining detail, bringing the feeling of a spring garden into the space. Arrangements in soft, layered colours appeared throughout the room, with each shade complementing the next rather than competing for attention.

At the centre, a moss green dance floor grounded the palette with a deeper tone, while the white bridal table kept the overall styling feeling clean and elegant. Around the room, candles picked up the same pastel shades as the florals, adding small moments of colour and warmth as the evening unfolded.

The result was a celebration that felt distinctly spring – soft, colourful and full of life. Rather than recreating a garden, Gabby & Adam brought the feeling of the season into the city, proving that colour, light and florals can completely transform a space.
